About Dr. Ford

My name is Celina Ford, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I moved to Florida in 2005 to complete my Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Throughout my training, I had significant research experience working with children on coping skills and stress reducing strategies. My clinical training also included exposure to extensive assessments using a variety of evaluations instruments with individuals of all ages, and individual and group therapy. Throughout my career, I have also trained interns and post doctoral residents in conducting comprehensive testing, providing feedback to parents and schools, multidisciplinary treatment planning, and report writing. In addition, I completed a post graduate diplomate in School Neuropsychology. For the first 8 years of my career, I worked for a large private practice. After completing my internship and post doctoral residency, and moving on to clinical and executive director positions, I decided to start my own practice. My training has allowed me to develop excellent clinical judgement, and notable experience with neuropsychological assessments, school consultations, parent reviews, and psychotherapeutic techniques. I am a Diplomate with the American Board of School Neuropsychology, and a professional member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology.
